C# / .NET semantic analysis

Glider

Navigate, analyze, edit, and refactor C#/.NET code with your coding agent.

Prepare and connect

dotnet tool exec "glider@*" --no-http-cache --verbosity quiet -- --version

Requirements

  • .NET 10 SDK installed locally.
  • An MCP client that can launch stdio servers or connect to Streamable HTTP.
  • A C# solution or project that can be loaded by local .NET/MSBuild tooling.

What you can do

  • Find definitions, references, implementations, overrides, and callers.
  • Inspect diagnostics before and after edits.
  • Edit source files and preview supported symbol, type, and member refactors.
  • Analyze change impact, complexity, and project or type dependencies.

Updates

The recommended connection checks for the latest stable package at each server start. See updates and version options.

Next steps

Let your client launch the server over stdio, or run a separate Streamable HTTP server. See HTTP setup.
