Install GliderMCP

Install GliderMCP as a local .NET tool, then connect it from your MCP client.

Choose your client below for setup instructions. GliderMCP works with Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codex, Gemini CLI, OpenCode, Pi, and other MCP-compatible clients.

Before setup, check Compatibility for project type, target framework, operating system, client, and transport guidance.

Recommendation: prefer project/workspace configuration when your client supports it. This avoids launching GliderMCP for unrelated projects and keeps agent context focused.

Install command

dotnet tool install --global glider

Prerequisites

• .NET 10 SDK installed locally
• An MCP-compatible client
• Your .NET tools directory on PATH

Update

dotnet tool update --global glider
